What's included in the CIA Refresher Seminars?

CIA Refresher Seminars are intended to be a final review of The IIA's CIA Learning System materials in preparation for the CIA exam. As such, some course providers require mandatory pre-work before beginning the class. Those enrolling in seminars offered by The Institute of Internal Auditors must already own The IIA's CIA Learning System or must purchase the bundle detailed below and complete the assigned extended quiz more than 14 days prior to the course. The IIA's CIA Learning System/CIA Refresher Seminar bundle includes:

• Printed modules based on the four parts of the CIA exam that provide the framework for your CIA review.
• Interactive online software tools to apply what you have studied and test your retention. See the Course Components page for more details.
• A series of four CIA Refresher Seminars based on the four parts of the CIA exam. Parts 1, 2, and 4 are 1-day seminars; Part 3 is a 2-day seminar, designed to cover Accounting topics on the first day and Information Technology topics on the second day. Participants can choose which seminar part to register for or register for all four parts. These seminars, developed by CIA-certified subject matter experts and taught by CIA practitioners, will reinforce the key components of the review materials to enhance knowledge and retention in a small class setting. (Please note: Each seminar offered by The IIA will be customized to meet the class needs based on a mandatory pre-class extended quiz that must be completed 14 days prior to the seminar.
